It can be black metal and not be dark. This used to be a raw black metal band, after all. Many bm bands are actually started to incorporate happy elements in their music.

Satan? Satan?! Not too sure where you drew that idea from but it’s wrong, that’s for sure. Alcest’s lyrics have nothing to do with Satanism at all. In fact, none of the projects Neige works with have lyrics about Satanism at all.
